Synopsis

This documentary explores modern day football in a manner that is not usually associated with the "beautiful game" in the present day. The struggles involved within non-league football are apparent across many clubs, up and down the country. Individuals at Leamington Football Club share their stories, as we follow them during their working week, giving an insight into their behind the scenes situation. They discuss the balancing act that they and many other part-time football clubs have to deal with in order to continue with their livelihoods. We follow the 5 characters through the rigours of their day-jobs, their training sessions, pre-match preparations and the events of their match on the saturday.
